Kitchen Doors and Drawers

One of our first big DIY projects was replacing the drawers and doors in our kitchen. The cabinets were still the originals from the mid-60s and were in great shape despite being 60 years old. They really knew how to build back then.

We went with a simple Shaker style, using poplar for the rails and stiles and MDF for the cabinet doors. Prefinished drawer sides and bottoms are a lifesaver.
